Keep your bottle in the best health

We insist you go through the following sections before using your copper water bottle.
Follow the dos and don’ts to maintain your copper water bottle in the best shape.

Before first use

• Rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water.
• Fill it with plain water and let it soak for at least 12 hours.
• Empty and rinse again before regular use.

Do’s

• Use plain, still, cold, or room-temperature water only.
• Expect natural patina or color changes; this is normal and indicates authentic copper.
• Always keep the lid fastened tightly to minimize tarnishing.
• Clean regularly to maintain optimal performance and avoid green patina (verdigris).

Don’ts

• Avoid storing acidic, carbonated, or hot liquids, as these can corrode the copper and cause excessive leaching.
• Do not store the bottle in the refrigerator.
• Never use a dishwasher to clean copper vessels.
• Prevent hard impacts, as copper is a soft metal and can dent or deform easily.

How to Maintain

• Hand wash with a mild soap or a natural cleaner like lemon and salt to remove tarnish.
• To clean green patina (verdigris), gently scrub with a mixture of vinegar and salt or use a natural copper cleaner.
• Rinse thoroughly after cleaning and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
• Store in a cool, dry place with the lid on when not in use to reduce oxidation.
